Ray Hamilton
W Strongsville 28 - Mayfield | (5-2)
The Mustangs have really turned their season around. After losing the first two games, they have ripped off 5 straight and pitched their first shutout on Friday beating Mayfield 28-0. Hamilton had 3 catches for 89 yards and afterwards updated his blog.

Next Game: vs. Brush - 10/15

Austin Blythe
L Williamsburg 7 - Solon 22 | (6-1)
Williamsburg lost their first game of the year against James Morris' old school, Solon. Williamsburg's offense was completely shut down and surprisingly ineffective. Previously the Raiders had scored at least 38 points in each game, but were held to just 7 on Friday. You can see Blythe on a couple of plays in KCRG's highlights (Blythe is #77 in white).

Next Game: vs. Clear Creek-Amana - 10/15

Jake Duzey
L Lake Orion 45 - Athens 7 | (2-5)
There was not much out there on this game. Lake Orion was and still is undefeated after facing Athens. Duzey had 3 catches for 66 yards and a TD.

Next Game: at Troy - 10/22

Riley McMinn
W Rochester 42 - Lanphier 7 | (7-0)
Rochester came out swinging on offense and went up 28-0 in the first quarter. From there they cruised to their 7th straight win. No mentions of McMinn were found.

Next Game: vs. Glenwood - 10/15

Cole Fisher
L Millard North 17 - Millard West 28 | (5-1)
Millard North could not overcome their 4 fumbles and lost to rival Millard West on Friday. No mentions of Fisher were found.

Next Game: vs. Omaha South - 10/15

Jordan Walsh
W Glenbard West 27 - York 10 | (7-0)
Glenbard West and York were both an undefeated 6-0 going into this game. York stormed out to a 10-0 lead and their fans thought the game was over chanting "Overrated." Well, Glenbard came back and scored the next 27 point for the win. I couldn't find anything on how Walsh played on Friday, but there was a nice story in the Tribune about Walsh prior to the game.

Next Game: vs. Downers Grove North - 10/16

Melvin Gordon
W Bradford 61 - Case 14 | (7-0)
Bradford was on a roll again mounting a 48-0 lead at halftime on route to their 7th win of the year. Gordon had another big game though he had just 8 carries. He finished with 131 yards and 4 touchdowns. This pushed his season total to 1,000 rushing yards and 21 touchdowns on 77 carries.

Next Game: vs. Franklin - 10/14

Torrey Campbell
W Cypress Lake 19 - Barron Collier 28 | (4-2)
Barron Collier stormed out to a 21-0 lead in the first quarter but really struggled throughout most of the rest of the game. They were able to score again late in the game to secure a victory after letting Cypress Lake back within two. Campbell is starting to take over as a legitimate rushing threat for BC. He had his best offensive night of the year with 88 yards on 11 carries and 2 touchdowns.

Next Game: at Naples - 10/22

Henry Krieger-Coble
W Mt. Pleasant 32 - Chariton 15 | (4-3)
Mt. Pleasant rebounded from last week's loss by riding Darian Cotton (brother of Jordan Cotton) who had 3 TDs and turned it into the Panther's 4 win of the season. No mentions of Krieger-Coble were found.

Next Game: vs. Keokuk - 10/15

Jacob Rudock
W Nova 0 - St. Thomas Aquinas 45 | (6-0)
It was just another walk in the park for Aquinas on homecoming as the Raiders strolled to a 45-point win over Nova. Aquinas struck fast when their defense gave Rudock and Co. great field position. Their 7 scoring were just 2, 2, 3, 7, 4, 3, and 3 plays long. Rudock had another great performance going 9 of 14 for 179 yards and 3 TDs. He is yet to throw an interception this year. You can see highlights of the game in this video.

Next Game: at Miramar - 10/15

John Raymon
L Council Rock North 8 - Neshaminy 35 | (0-6)
Council Rock North is still without a win, while its latest opponent, Neshaminy, is still without a loss. The game went about how you would expect between an undefeated and a winless team. CRN was unable to stop Neshaminy's offense early and didn't score until junk time at the end of the game. No mentions of Raymon were found.

Next Game: at Harry S. Truman - 10/16

Austin Vincent
W DeSoto 30 - North Mesquite 20 | (5-1)
DeSoto struggled defending the run giving up 229 yards on the ground to North Mesquite's running back, but were able to overcome the poor defense with a huge night passing the ball. They had 33 yards and 4 TDs through the air and won 30-20. Vincent had the final score of the game. He caught a short pass then ran it in 22 yards for an insurance TD in the fourth quarter.

Next Game: vs. Tyler Lee - 10/15

Melvin Spears
W Plano East 24 - Allen 34 | (6-0)
Allen's running back had nearly 300 yards rushing leading the way to an Eagle's win. The game would have been a little more comfortable if it were not for two pick-sixes thrown by the Allen quarterback. Iowa newest commit, Melvin Spears, made a big play at the end of the first half. With the score tied 10-10, Spears had an interception as Plano East was driving down the field to take the lead. He also had an early sack that pushed Plano East out of field goal range on the first drive of the game.
