It was a big night for 3 former Iowa Hawkeyes as Pat Angerer, Amari Spievey, and Tony Moeaki were all drafted. Through 3 rounds, the Hawkeyes have had 4 players selected. Bryan Bulaga was drafted by Green Bay in round 1 yesterday night. There are likely 2 more players that will be drafted tomorrow, A.J. Edds and Kyle Calloway, and possibly 3 if a team gives Dace Richardson a chance.

Pat Angerer drafted by the Indianapolis Colts

Angerer was the 31st pick in the 2nd round of the draft (63rd overall). He was the second pick of the Colts who took DE Jerry Hughes from TCU in the 1st round. Angerer will join fellow Hawks Dallas Clark and Bob Sanders in Indianapolis.

Amari Spievey drafted by the Detroit Lions

Spievey was the 2nd pick in the 3rd round and 66th overall. A year ago, Bradley Fletcher was drafted in the exact same spot. Spievey was the 3rd pick by the Lions who had 2 first round picks getting Ndamukong Suh and Jahvid Best.

Tony Moeaki drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs

Moeaki was drafted at the end of the 3rd round as the 29th pick and 93rd overall. He was the Chief's 5th pick who had 3 picks in the 2nd and 3rd rounds. Moeaki continues Ferentz's streak of every starting tight end at Iowa getting drafted.
