Kyle Calloway in the Shrine Game

on
Programming alert: Offensive lineman Kyle Calloway will be playing for the East team in today's East-West Shrine Game. You can watch the game on ESPN2 later today at 2:00. Calloway has gotten some recognition for his efforts in practice and should see considerable playing time today (there are just 4 OTs on the roster).

Calloway has had a very nice career in Iowa City. He has started in 37 games (if I counted right) and earned 2nd Team All-Big Ten honors as a junior and senior. He had a hilarious incident involving alcohol and a moped that cost him one game. But all-in-all he played well and has earned some respect from NFL scouts. CBS Sports has Calloway going in the 3rd round, 93rd overall and 9th best OT, and a good showing today could boost his stock. He was also have a shot to impress at the NFL combine.

So anyway, good luck to Calloway today and in the future.
