Football season is here, for high school at least and that's better than nothing. If you want to get an early start following the 2010 recruiting class, 12 of the 13 young men (2 new commits today, Don Shumpert and Christian Kirksey, check back later for more info on the teammates) and are playing tonight/tomorrow. Check back in a couple days for a report on how each commit played (or more likely just how their team looked...not too many skill players with lots of stats on the commit list yet).
The game of the week will be Harlan at Denison which features a match up of two Iowa commits, Matt Hoch and Brandon Scherff. What's even more excellent is that Hoch is a DE and Scherff an OT so the two should be lining up head to head. So, if you live in western Iowa near Denison, this might be a game you want to check out.
